Overview

Our Strength & Power program is the cornerstone of athletic development at GO Fitness. Built on the principles of progressive overload, periodization, and technical mastery, this program is engineered for lifters who want to move serious weight with confidence and precision. Whether you are chasing your first 2x bodyweight squat or aiming to break through a long-standing plateau, our coaches will build you a roadmap that turns ambition into achievement.

Every cycle begins with a comprehensive assessment of your current 1RM, movement quality, and weak points. From there, your coach constructs a 12-week periodized block — hypertrophy phases to build capacity, strength phases to peak intensity, and strategic deload weeks to consolidate gains. You will train the king lifts — squat, bench press, deadlift — alongside targeted accessory work that addresses your individual limitations and bulletproofs your joints against injury.

This is not a generic strength template. Every set, every rep, every load is calibrated to your unique physiology and goals. Our coaches, several of whom have competed at the national level, watch every working set and adjust on the fly. You leave each session knowing exactly what you did, why you did it, and what comes next.

The Breakdown
02

Who This Is For

Intermediate to advanced lifters who have at least 12 months of consistent training behind them and want to break through strength plateaus.

Athletes preparing for powerlifting meets or strength-focused sports who need structured peaking and technical refinement under the eye of competitive coaches.

03

What to Expect

Four training sessions per week, each lasting 75 to 90 minutes. Two days focus on squat and bench, two days on deadlift and overhead work, with accessory circuits rounding out each session.

Heavy loads are a constant — you will spend significant time at 80%+ of 1RM. Be prepared to grind, but also to refine. Every rep is coached for technical precision, not just completed.

04

Equipment You Will Use

Competition-spec power racks, calibrated plates, Eleiko and Rogue barbells, specialty bars (safety squat bar, deadlift bar, Swiss bar), chains, bands, and velocity-based training devices.
